The details of Team on the run App version 2.3.8

The update offers a variety of functionalities across different areas:

GEOLOCATION

  • Display user’s PLMN on dispatcher and smartphone client maps (coming soon to mobile app update).
  • The dispatcher will see the PLMN (Public Land Mobile Network) used by the user’s device on the dispatcher map. Also, the smartphone users will see the PLMN of the user’s tracked. The PLMN will be displayed near the battery and network info so the dispatcher will see if the user is connected to the public. GSM network or to the private LTE network.
  • Support for ArcGIS maps as an alternative map provider.

WebChat

The channel banner on WebChat will be enhanced by adding a volume bar control to allow the user to manage the volume on each channel.

WebChat: Playback mode for channels

“Hear All” functionality
  • This is a new functionality that we add
  • The user will hear all the channels when people are talking on them
  • If the user is talking on a channel, he does not hear other channels
“Hear First Speaker” functionality
  • This is an existing functionality that we have when channels priorities per organization is turned off
  • The user will hear only the channel on which a user is talking. If on a different channel somebody else is talking it will not be heard.
  • If the user is talking on a channel, he does not hear other channels
“Hear First Priority” functionality
  • This is an existing functionality that we have when channel priorities per organization is turned on.
  • The user will hear only the channel with the highest priority on which a user is talking. If on a different channel with the same priority somebody else is talking it will not be heard.
  • If the user is talking on a channel, he does not hear other channels

WebChat: PTT Call/VoIP calls on Hold

Users that are involved in a PTT/Voip or Video call and respond to another PTT, Voip or Video Call will be put on Hold. On mobile, the user will have the possibility to put only one call on hold. On WebChat, the user will have the possibility to put on hold multiple PTT and VoIP calls.

Users that are involved in a PTT/Voip or Video call and respond to another PTT, Voip or Video Call will be put on Hold. On mobile, the user will have the possibility to put only one call on hold. On WebChat, the user will have the possibility to put on hold multiple PTT and VoIP calls.

WebChat: Voice Message Recording

Users can now send recorded voice messages (see image below).

The new “Voice message” option will be displayed between “Attachment” and “Location” options.

WebChat: Auto Answer VoIP call from recipient of Man Down Alert

When the recipient of a man down alert calls the user in distress, the user in distress will auto answer the call (VoIP call) to hear the recipient of the man down alert. The VoIP all initiated from the man-down alert pop-up will have the same priority as an Emergency Call.

  • Search the entire company user list in Web Company Admin.
  • Display connected application server name on clients.
  • Password security options.
  • Diameter server refactoring and BSI radio gateway support.
  • WebChat: Delete processes in “New” and “In Progress” categories.
  • Log improvements: display web service duration and critical logs for database/redis connection and web service failures.
  • Enhancements to CUG (Closed User Group), bulk actions, and more.

My Business

When creating or editing a process, the admin will now have the right to define the priority level for that process if the option is set to ON.

The 3 levels are displayed and by default, medium is selected.

The Priority level displayed on the user side for each process instance executed will be the one set by the Admin and it can not be changed.

Display process progression: This will allow users to see the steps of the processes they create and assign users to each specific step

Process Step Edition Right: This feature will let users know that they have the right to edit processes only if assigned to them

The Edit Process Step permission tells users that they have the right to edit processes only if they are assigned to them.

Naming automation widget for search

When creating/editing a process, a company admin will be able to define one or more widgets for which the content filled by the user in the process instance will be automatically added in the process instance.

The update of the process name will be done either when the user presses on SUBMIT or on the Complete button.

It means that the input of this widget will be added automatically in the process instance name on the user side and the user/admin will be able to search for this entry.

Administrator will be able to set a widget entry as search process keyword for all widgets except:

  • Doodle
  • Table
  • Info
  • Separator
  • Signature
  • Upload file
  • Text area
  • Web view
  • Start-stop

Processes export (Admin and User)

You can now filter which parts of processes you want to export.

Processes templates export/import (Web Company Admin Only)

Export Templates
Admin will be able to export process template when:
Admin hovers the mouse over one process template in the “My Process” list.
  • The menu button for the template will be displayed. If the admin clicks on it, the option of the process template will be displayed.
  • The new “Export” process will be added in the option, right below “Edit option”
  • When admin clicks on it, the export will be generated

Export Templates
A new button will be added “Import Processes”.
It will be displayed below the “Create new process” button.
Imported processes will be imported in the “General” category by default. Up to the admin to change the category later.
