summary

END-USER FEATURE

  1. Upgrade pre-arranged call to emergency call

TOTR mobile and webchat participants in an ongoing pre-arranged PTT group call can now instantly elevate the active call to an Emergency Group Call.

Benefits:

  • Immediate awareness of the current group call participants.
  • Automatic reuse of the current group call network resources.
  • Activation of emergency-specific call features.
  • No additional user action required.

This capability ensures seamless escalation from standard operations to emergency communication, preserving continuity while maximizing responsiveness and control.

  1. “Do Not Disturb" status

Users can now set their new status to “Do Not Disturb” directly from the mobile or web application.

  • When this status is enabled:
    • All incoming calls and Push-to-talk (PTT) calls are either rejected or forwarded to voicemail/another contact (depending on configuration). Call logs remain visible when the user opens the mobile application.
    • No notifications are displayed for new messages or processes when the mobile application is closed.
    • When the mobile application is open, user receives message, processes in real time and missed call events.
  • The Do Not Disturb status is indicated by an orange dot displayed on the user’s contact picture, visible to others.

Notes:

  • The Do Not Disturb status does not apply to Emergency Calls, Emergency messages, Ambient listening call or Lone Worker Protection alerts.

Benefits:

  • Respects users’ right to disconnect
  • Prevents distractions by hiding notifications until the user actively opens the app.

  1. Emergency call support in inter – organization/inter MCX operations

When a group is configured as a recipient in an Emergency PTT Group Call profile and linked to a group from another organization, any emergency call triggered to this group will now be automatically handled as an emergency call for the recipients of the other organization.

Benefits:

  • Consistent emergency call handling across linked groups.
  • Automatic application of emergency call behavior and features.
  • No additional configuration or manual intervention required.
  • Improved reliability and operational consistency in critical situations.

This enhancement ensures that emergency status is properly propagated, maintaining the expected level of priority and functionality throughout the linked communication environment.

  1. Prearranged group call events grouped in one unique conversation

Before 4.4, each time a user launched a prearranged group call from his Contacts list, a new conversation was created and displayed in his Conversations list.

User now sees all his call history with one prearranged group listed in one unique conversation.

  • This rule applies for all prearranged group call types: PTT call, Emergency call, conference call.
  • A unique conversation is created for each call type and each prearranged group.
  • User can still access to the existing prearranged group conversations created before the v4.4 and send message/launch call in it.
  • Call initiated from an existing prearranged group conversation will still be displayed in the existing conversation.

Benefits:

  • The user can see in one click all calls involving a specific predefined group. Group call conversations are consolidated, providing a clearer and more organized Conversations list.

ADMINISTRATION FEATURES

  1. Automatic mobile log collection

Administrators can now remotely activate the automatic periodic log transmission in a mobile application. The administrators can then process the received mobile user’s log files in the Web Admin interface. The mechanism works as follows:
  • The mobile application receives a remote activation command.
  • It activates the log debug level.
  • When the log size exceeds a configurable threshold, the logs are automatically transmitted to the server.
  • Log transmission occurs at regular intervals.
  • The mechanism automatically stops after a predefined and configurable duration.

Benefits:

  • Remote supervision without mobile user intervention
  • Direct log access from the administration portal for faster troubleshooting and issue resolution.
  • Optimized network usage (size-based log transmission)
  • Controlled and temporary activation
  • Streamlined support and maintenance workflows.

The only action required from the mobile user is to grant permission from their Settings page to allow the administrator to retrieve logs remotely. Once authorized, the administrator can securely access the logs without any additional user involvement.

  1. Export of administrator list

Main Administrators and Department Administrators can now export the list of administrators within their respective scope (organization or subdepartment).

Benefits:

  • Exportable list of administrators within your managed area.
  • Accurate visibility of administrators across your organization or subdepartment.
  • Easier oversight, reporting, and compliance management.
  • Improved administrative control and governance.

This feature enables administrators to efficiently manage and monitor their assigned organizational scope through a clear and exportable overview of assigned administrators.

  1. Improvement: asynchronous bulk actions

All bulk actions are now processed asynchronously to enhance stability and performance. Key Benefits:
  • Administrators can perform other tasks on the administration interface while his bulk request is processed in background.
  • Improved system responsiveness and reliability while managing large-scale bulk operations.
  • Smoother and more robust user experience.

This update ensures that bulk operations run in the background, allowing administrators to continue working without interruption while large processes complete safely and efficiently.

  1. Visibility of linked groups and channels (Inter or Intra-MCx)

Administrators can now view the list of groups and channels linked to a selected group with Inter or Intra-MCx.

Benefits:

  • Comprehensive overview of all linked groups and channels.
  • Clear identification of inter-group and intra-group links in the groups and departments management section.
  • Improved visibility of the group’s communication environment.
  • Faster and more efficient configuration management.

This enhancement provides administrators with an immediate and structured view of a group’s linked ecosystem, simplifying supervision and operational management.

RECORDER FEATURES (for TOTR On-Premise only)

The Audit Server web user interface in TOTR now supports the Arabic language.
