StreamWIDE announces H1 2009 Revenue up 2.4% to €3.1 million

Paris, 30 September 2009 – StreamWIDE (FR0010528059 – ALSTW), a specialist in Next Generation value-added telephony solutions for telecom carriers, today announces its revenue for the first half of 2009.

Over the first half of 2009, StreamWIDE posted consolidated revenue of €3.1 million, up 2.4% over H1 2008.

After 6 months, revenue from services (specific developments, migrations and upgrades of onsite platforms) totalled €1.5 million; this represents nearly half of the group’s consolidated revenue. With almost 80% of this revenue coming from existing clients, StreamWIDE has proven to have tightened commercial relationships with its installed base; illustrating the trust its clients have in the company.

The prevalence of services also reflects a continuation in the trend that began in 2008; the wait-and-see attitude of telecom carriers in terms of investments. Software sales eventually accounted for 37.7% of revenue, and merchandise sales, 11.9% of revenue.

This wait-and-see stance is particularly strong in France. The other major trend to emerge from H1 revenue is the geographical split, with only 29.6% of revenue coming from French clients. The 1st half of 2009 reaffirmed the weakness of the French market and the growth of international activities, which jumped 84.5% compared to the 1st half of 2008. This performance validates StreamWIDE’s international strategy, with the company developing a universal offer enabling it to have a worldwide reach. As announced, StreamWIDE’s US subsidiary’s revenue jumped 78.3% to over €0.3 million. The Chinese subsidiary continues its R&D work, becoming totally operational in this respect, while also pursuing intense sales efforts.

Again, despite facing telecom carriers’ wait-and-see attitude, StreamWIDE managed to increase revenue from existing overseas clients. StreamWIDE is well-positioned to benefit from its long-term relationships with its clients, and is prepared for the upturn in investments.
