NFC communication is another one of the many features brought to you by Team on the Run. For those unfamiliar with NFC communication, NFC stands for Near Field Communication:
NFC: is a set of communication protocols that enable two electronic devices, one of which is usually a portable device such as a smartphone, to establish communication by bringing them within about 4 cm (2 in) of each other
NFC tag check ins with Team on the Run allow you to do instant updates while on the go. Real-time inventory updates will allow you to update management on inventory by just hovering your phone over a well placed NFC tag.
NFC also allows for instant updates on employee tasks and performance. Complete a task? Use an NFC tag to mark what time you finished your task or project at so your boss knows exactly when you completed said task.
Lastly, NFC also provides security, access control and location identification among other process automation in the business environment. Private security companies can use NFC tags to see when employees are checking doors and checking rooms to be more precise and time efficient each time they check a room. When tagged with NFC they can also back up when exactly they checked rooms and doors in case of emergency as well.
